Sadia Romero is the violinist of the trio. She was born in Cuba and started the violin when she was 7 years old at Guillermo Tomas Music Conservatory. Later on she continued her musical education at Amadeo Roldan Music School where she graduated with a Certificate of Music in 2004. She was a member of the Juvenile Symphony Orchestra in Havana, Cuba from 2001-2005. At the same time she performed in other different places. During 2003- 2005 she performed continuously at the Melia Havana in Havana, Cuba. In 2005 she went to Moscow, Russia where she delighted the public with her music at the Old-Havana Restaurant from 2005-2006. Later in 2006, she came to the United States and has performed in different events. She a very versatile musician, in addition to a great violinist, she is a talented singer and songwriter. In July 2007, she was invited for an interview and performance at the Latin TV Show in Miami named: "Seguro que Yes" in Channel 41. In 2008, she was invited once more by the same TV host Alexis Valdes to perform at his new program "Esta Noche TuNight" in MegaTV Channel. Sadia had the opportunity to expose her talents as a singer, violinist and composer at the same time in these two shows by performing her compositions.
Elizabeth M. Vazquez was born in Cuba and is the cellist of the Elegant Trio. She graduated from schools like Guillermo Tomas Music Conservatory and Amadeo Roldan Music Conservatory, Habana Cuba. After her studies she became the Professor of Violoncello and Ensemble Practice at the “National School of Art”, Havana, Cuba (1990-1993). She joined the “ National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba” in 1993. The orchestra gave international concerts in countries like Mexico (2001), Martinique (2000), Peru (1997), Argentina (1996) and Spain (1994). Subsequent to that, stayed in the United States and decided to obtain a Bachelor Degree in Music Performance from New World School of the Arts, Miami, Fl, where she studies at the moment. Elizabeth had the honor of performing at the tribute made by various artists to the famous Cuban bassist Israel Lopez "Chachao" at the Carnival Center in Miami on September 22nd, 2007. In addition, she plays in the “Miami Symphony Orchestra” since 2004 and she is a Cello Instructor.
Oderlyn Gutiez is the flutist of The Elegant Trio. She started studying music at the age of 8 at Guillermo Tomas Music Conservatory in La Habana, Cuba. She came to the United States in 1998 continuing her musical education. During the high school years she participated in numerous competitions, concerts and received several music awards. In 2003 entered the New World School of the Arts College (NWSA), which is an Art School in a partnership with Miami Dade College and the University of Florida. Competitions she has won: Florida Flute Association Advanced Masterclass with Ervin Monroe (2005), 2nd place in the Women's History Month Celebration Music Competition at Miami Dade College (2005), 3rd place winner at the Florida Flute Association College Young Artist Competition (2006). She did a T.V appearance with cellist Erick Riesgo in a flute-cello duo in the show “Noche de Estrellas" (Night of Stars) in the Telemiami Channel. In April 26, 2006 Oderlyn received the Bachelor Degree of Music Performance from the University of Florida and is currently pursuing the Master Degree of Music Performance at Lynn University. She is an active performer and instructor. Oderlyn is the principal flutist of the Wallenstein Symphony Orchestra and has substituted in orchestras like the Sunrise Symphonic Pops Orchestra, Hallandale Symphonic Pops Orchestra and the Hollywood Philharmonic Orchestra.
